Welcome To Hiawassee Mountain Village

Hiawassee Mountain Village

Hiawassee Mountain Village is a small, quaint community covering 25 acres that was developed with high quality cabin homes. Through the years, many have added additions to their homes and property. Bordering the Chattahoochee National Forest, "The Village" has a peaceful park-like setting with rushing streams, mountain views and where nature abounds all around. Convenient, yet secluded, the Village is a private sanctuary where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Bears, deer, rabbits, wild turkeys and other animals and birds are often seen around the property.

The town of Hiawassee is only 8 miles away and offers Lake Chatuge entertainment along with various restaurants, nice park, beach area and a splash pad for the children. There are multiple trails that are accessible for hiking and many people enjoy these.

Neighborhood News

We would like to invite you to take advantage of utilizing our Gathering Place amenity for family gatherings and other events. A sign-up sheet will be placed on the bulletin board for you to place your name and date that you are requesting. Someone from the board will contact you and go over details. You are responsible for cleaning any areas that are utilized during your reserved time.

Please keep in mind the speed limit, especially on Deer Run Circle, all other streets and when entering or exiting the community. It’s10 MPH. We would hate to get Law Enforcement involved but will do so if needed. We have residents who walk for exercise, also who walk their pets, and we would not want to place our residents nor their pets in danger. Thank you for showing this consideration for all of us.

Also, please remember that the washers and dryers are a complimentary inclusion of the clubhouse amenity. Please clean both washers out as well as both filters for dryers inside and outside. The dryer vents can become a fire hazard if we’re not careful. If this is not done, we will have no other choice but remove these from the GP.

Remember as a board, we are open and available for questions and discussions about any matters that concern our community. Please feel free to contact any of us and we will set a time aside to address these. As always, it is our desire to serve this community with the utmost level of integrity and to keep us all safe.

We would love to hear from you.
